Today’s tip comes from Meg and Johns Tahoe wedding last September. Meg came from a long line of amazing quilters so instead of the normal old guest book we did a selection of 7 different patterned fabric squares in soft peach, powder blue, pinks and creams, all matching the décor in their bedroom. We had a little over 220 squares, one for each guest. Each signed with a brown sharpie with well wishes, marriage advice and predictions for 10 years down the line. Afterwards her Mom took all the squares and made what she called “the snuggy of love”. This beautiful quilt graces their bedroom as a reading throw and lives on a big comfy chair next to her fireplace……..love it!
