Today’s guest book alternative comes from a wonderful couple that is actually celebrating their third anniversary this August. Cammy and Dave stayed focused when deciding on their gift registry. Everything was based on landscaping and building their backyard kitchen and bar. They let me handle the wedding and they worked on creating a personal oasis.

I definitely didn’t get the impression that a guestbook or picture signing was the way they wanted to remember the wedding.

hmmmmm...what to do???

I found small unglazed tiles that each one of their guests signed and wrote well wishes on. After the wedding we had them sealed and used them as the back splash on the outdoor kitchen.......Loved it!

It is all about enjoying some of the older traditions in a way that you will actually appreciate  :)
